Landy installs straight from the browser. It is the same logbook the iPhone app runs: your properties, photo repair requests and Healthy Homes records, with its own icon on the home screen.
Point your phone at this.
Landy installs onto the phone, not onto this computer. Scan the code, or open landylogbook.com/android on your Android phone.
Free. Nothing downloads from a store, and the install takes no meaningful space on your phone.
If your browser offered the button above, that is all there is to it. If it did not, and Firefox and Samsung Internet do not, here is the same thing by hand.
Landy sits on the home screen with the other apps. No typing an address, no hunting through tabs.
No address bar, no browser chrome. It opens straight into your logbook, signed in.
It updates itself when we ship. There is no version to download and nothing to keep up to date.
Press and hold the icon to remove it, like any app. It takes almost no space on the phone.
Nearly. Same logbook, same account, same data, and the iPhone app loads the very same screens. Two differences worth knowing: photos go through your phone's file picker rather than opening the camera directly, and the small buzz on a completed action is missing. Everything else behaves the same.
A Google Play listing is on its way. Installing from the browser now doesn't lock you out of it, because the app updates itself either way.
